Actually, car washing is just as important as waxing, especially if you live in an area where the roads are treated with salt in the winter. I have added car washing to my weekly routine. I use quarters that I get back from going through drive up windows to wash the car each week. It only costs me about two dollars and five minutes of my time, but will add a lot of life to my car. Let’s get back on task to car polishing, though.

Unfortunately, the overproduction has provided an opportunity to the con artists. Don’t fall for the cheap products that will never fulfill your desire of an exhibition quality finish. Do your research over the internet to find a better quality. Buying a car wax is only the first step to a greater shine. Get yourself educated on better polishing.

In light of all this, there are ways to cut down on spending and one little thing that can help stretch your money is washing your own vehicle.

If you would like to wash your car, you need to make sure you have all of the car wash supplies that you need. The first thing you will need is a source of clean running water. If you have a backyard hose with a sprayer, it should work just fine. Make sure that you park as near the hose as possible so that you can be sure it will reach around your car.

I tend to save change in one of the compartments of my car and use the change I accumulate at the self-serve car wash. Most of the time, I like to wash the car once per week and wax it on Valentine’s Day, Memorial Day, and Labor Day. This definitely helps prevent corrosion and keeps my car look its best.

Waxing a car is actually pretty simple. Car polish or wax is actually just a thin, transparent layer over the paint.

Typically there is a spot along the outside of your house that will have a faucet you can screw your hose into for water. Now that you have got that under control, you need car wash supplies.

There are a variety of different brands and types that you can use, but one thing is for certain, which is that you need a sponge! A big sponge is best to cover the large surface area of the car. You can use a natural sea sponge or a synthetic sponge, the choice is yours! A sturdy bucket is the next of the car wash supplies. You can use any sort of bucket, provided that it holds at least a couple of gallons of water.

As long as the bucket holds at least two gallons of water, you can use just about any sort. A bucket and sponge would be no good, however, without some car wash soap!

There are many different types of car wash soap that you can buy, but make sure that the kind you pick is specially formulated for washing your vehicle. It is best to stick with the real thing, since house hold soaps could ruin the finish on your car. Once you have the basic car wash supplies needed, you can being washing.

If you like to go the extra mile making your car look professionally done, there are a couple more things you might want to buy.

Car wax also reduces corrosion due to water as it forms a seal on the pain through which water cannot enter. Car wax has to be reapplied regularly and is not permanent. A good quality car wax generally stays on for around 3 to 4 months thus reapplication of car wax every 3 months would be optimum.

IT is advisable that before waxing a car it should be buffered for any irregularities and to remove scratches, after which the wax should be applied, which is repeated every three months. The requirements to wax your car, is a good quality wax, a clean towel and a small sponge.

In fact the sand also shines the surface but the only difference between the two substance lies in the abrasive nature of the car polish which makes it stick, harden and shine, at the same time. Due to oxidization, certain car colors are prone to get rusty quickly. Car polish acts to preserve the car paint and protects it from getting dull. It should also be noticed that every time the car is painted, a layer of original paint is affected to a certain extent. It is therefore necessary to use a fine cotton cloth to polish the car.

It is due to the mass production that the car wax is widely available to every one. Over production has lead to much low quality car wax. Be cautious and avoid buying the cheap stuff. Take your time and research the web to find a good quality car wax. A supreme shine never ends only in buying the car wax.

Wax is available in the market in various types of basic chemicals like paste, cream and liquid etc. The most common and celebrated type contain carnauba which is a chemical containing high amounts of fatty acids. This fatty acid of the chemical carnuba creates a solid coating between the paint and the outside matter which tends to stick to the surface which protects it, and gives it a smooth finish when car wax is applied to a vehicle. Man made waxes also form a UV protective layer over a surface and protect the paint from the direct action of sun rays which may cause loss of paint from over it. Synthetic wax creates a high gloss while carnauba waxes give a warm and wet looking finish.

Washing down a car requires a car wash hose, differential nozzles, sponges and car wash towels. More effective than traditional car sponges are the micro fiber towels which do not scratch the paint when used. They are slightly more expensive than sponges but are worth the money. Washing a car requires a combination of spray jet and jet spray, facility which is available in adjustable nozzles which are commonly available. To reach those inaccessible corners of your car, nozzles come with flexible extenders which are not too expensive.

You must have always tried giving a shinny look that was only limited to show cars. It is the industrial age that has made possible for an average person to access the once commercially available car wax. Modern technology has led to the evolution of car wax that is cheap to produce. It is due to the mass production that the car wax is widely available to every one. Unfortunately, the overproduction has provided an opportunity to the con artists.

They also took the longest to apply, mainly because of all the extra buffing needed to spread the wax evenly and reduce streaking. Spray on waxes were the least durable and did the worst job at cleaning, but they were also the quickest and easiest to apply. Consumer Reports suggested that spray on waxes were best for owners who were willing to reapply them frequently, for interim treatments between full treatments with more durable waxes, or for new cars whose factory fresh finishes required little attention. Paste waxes were similar to liquid waxes in durability and ease of application. Although paste waxes used to be notoriously time consuming to apply, Consumer Reports noted that now they are packaged with applicators that have cut their application time significantly, even and made them slightly easier to apply than liquid waxes.

Therefore, you must use all preventive measures to protect your car. However, it is not possible to staying at home in acidic rain therefore, for saving your car from the harmful effects of the acid rain, you must use car wax.

Another way to evaluate the importance of car wax is that lets compare it with the use of sun block. In summers you must use sun block creams to avoid skin burning. Similarly, your car also needs protection from the sun.

They realized that the security equipments, like cameras, in the long run generate more dividends. They are good investments even if they are a little bit on the expensive side initially. You may be wondering how? The high resolution camera in your establishment will definitely make your customers feel safe. They will realize that their vehicles are also protected if they themselves feel safe. When they trust your facility than your competitors, they of course will come back to your place than to a place they know are unprotected.
