Car polish is a must have product in your car care inventory. The reason is simple; everyone loves a shiny car and a good polish helps you get the brand new look back. Car polishes not only make your car look fresh, but also help protect the paint and prevent paint failure. Bird poo, oil, dust and grime are some of the pollutants that accumulate on the outer surface of a car over a period of time. Just washing your car is not sufficient as most of these contaminants have acids and adhesive agents in them which stick to the car paint and slowly eat through the protective layer of paint exposing bare metal. Bare metal corrode easily leading to rusting of the car, reducing its life and resale value. There are numerous car polishes in the market with a varying number of ingredients. However, most car polishes have abrasive component to help remove the oil and grime marks. Some car polish products also include filler agents to fill in the gaps left by scratch marks.

Application of car polish is a painstaking procedure, a technique that needs to be mastered. The first step is to wash the car . Wash first with plain water and then with a car specified detergent mix. Detergent used for washing clothes are never to be used as they are strong and may damage your car paint. The third stage is to again wash off the car detergent with plain water. Use a chamois leather car towel or a micro fiber car towel to dry your car. Having done that put the car polish evenly with an applicator brush which usually comes with your car polish product. It is important to apply the car polish evenly, making sure you leave no holidays. Leave the car polish to dry off for the time period specified as per the car polish manual of instructions. Then rub it off with a micro fiber towel to give you a good glow and a brand new look car.

The various components in the car polish perform different tasks such as dissolving and removal of oil and grime by the abrasive part and the shine and protection task done by the wax component. The water repellant property of the wax component helps protect your car paint from water. How often should you polish your car? A two to three week interval is recommended between car polishing. Too frequent car polishing is not recommended for your paint because irrespective of what the advertisement may claim, all car polishes will remove a very thin layer of your car paint which over time results in thinning of the car paint and dulling of the color. So a sensible interval between polishing is a must.

Using car wax on your car will keep it looking good and protect your investment. Car wax will also make your car stay cleaner longer and make it really easy to wash it. The dirt and bugs will not stick to your car very easily when it has a good coat of car wax on it.

You can use car wax at home because it is so easy to use. Different people will wax their car more often than others

The modern technology has made it possible to produce car wax in greater numbers. It is due to the mass production that the car wax is widely available to every one. Over production has lead to much low quality car wax. Don’t fall for the cheap products that will never fulfill your desire of an exhibition quality finish. Take your time and research the web to find a good quality car wax

Unfortunately, the overproduction has provided an opportunity to the con artists. Don’t fall for the cheap products that will never fulfill your desire of an exhibition quality finish. Take your time and research the web to find a good quality car wax. Buying a car wax is only the first step to a greater shine. You should know the basics.

I save up quarters in the car that I get as change and use them to run through the car wash. It does not cost much and only takes about five minutes per week, but it will add so much life onto the car. Let’s get back on task to car polishing, though.

Applying car polish is actually very easy to do. Be certain that your car has been thoroughly washed and dried before your begin the application process.

I have seen recommendations for two separate sponges to be used, one for the wheels and one for the chassis, if you would like.

After you have rinsed the soap off of your car, it is a good idea to dry the outside of the windows, at least. Using a household glass cleaner with paper towels to wipe down the inside of the windshield and windows is ideal. Protective rubber spray to keep your tires from cracking can be a good investment. This will keep your tires from cracking and weakening in the heat.

To wash down your car, carwash supplies such as a good strong hose, and differential nozzles would be required as also requisite carwash sponges and towels. The latest micro fiber towels are better than traditional sponges as they do not scratch the paint. The added extra cost of these towels is well worth the investment. Washing a car requires a combination of spray jet and jet spray, facility which is available in adjustable nozzles which are commonly available. Access to those areas that require hard cleaning is made easy by attaching flexible extenders to the nozzles, an accessory which is not too costly.

Think of it as giving your car two weeks vacation in some exotic beach resort. For two weeks and for that kind of money your car will have a 61 stages Pinnacle Miracle Detail. It will also receive Zymol Royal wax treatment in 4 layers. The wax itself is about $13,000 per container so at least you know that you are getting your moneys worth. Of course your car will also have an indoor carpet shampoo and vacuum.

Today, almost every year local car wash services have new products and innovations for their customers. This is because in order to survive the stiff competition, they must make sure that their customers will come back and will not find better services elsewhere. Having the latest equipment, new services, well designed lay outs and even additional security and surveillance equipment are just some of their improvements today.

For example, when it comes to security and surveillance, car wash services before only had them for their night services. Today, even for daytime operations, managers and operators have installed the latest surveillance and security equipment in their stations.

You should only use car polish after you have washed your car. Both liquid car polish and paste car polish have advantages.

Applying car polish to the surface of a car can minimize scratches and smooth out the finish of the car. You can have car polish done professionally at a body shop or car wash or do it yourself.

Car polish and car cleaner polish are not the same thing.

Polish is not the same thing as car wax. You really need to follow the application of an abrasive with car wax. Polish uses an abrasive and can leave the finish on your car even more exposed to the elements so you should follow it by using car wax. Some products have both polish and car wax and you can do them both in one step. Expert auto detailers say you should apply the polish and the car wax separately.

During applying Car Wax, you should work on one section of the car at a time and then proceed to the other.

Before applying the Car Wax, the car should be thoroughly washed and dried. A Car Wax is generally considered good if it is relatively difficult to apply. This is due to the reason that the car waxes which are difficult to apply are effective for a shorter period of time.

You should use a Wax sponge for applying the Car Wax.

A supreme shine never ends only in buying the car wax. You should know the basics. Make sure that the car wax is applied to different parts of the car and let it dry before using a damp cloth to wipe it off. Use small circulatory motion to clean. Once done, take a clean cotton cloth to wipe off the wax, once again.

Ask any guy with a car if you should keep your car waxed. You know they are going to tell you yes if you ask them if you should wax it. But if you happen to be a single woman with no guy in you life to take care of that for you, you really do need to learn about car wax. You can wax it yourself and keep it looking shiny and keep it protected too.

The car can be protected with car wax from the elements to keep it from fading.

It is not necessary, but it sure does make you seem a bit more polished. Quite the contrary. Car wax should be compared to taking a multivitamin or putting on sunscreen. It not only makes your car appear shiny and clean, it protects your car and can keep it looking new. Your car will perform better and last longer, if you have a routine of washing, waxing and keeping up with service and repairs.

The polish is widely available and comes in a variety of style. It will not be an oversimplification to suggest that the car polish is a variant of sand. In fact the sand also shines the surface but the only difference between the two substance lies in the abrasive nature of the car polish which makes it stick, harden and shine, at the same time. Certain natural colors like red are exposed to the natural sunlight that makes them vulnerable to rust. To protect the exposure, the car polish acts as the first line of defense against the fury of nature.

How do you know what kind of car wax to use? It depends on the size and age of your car, how much work you are willing to do, and how much time you are willing to put into waxing your car. If your car is only one or two years old, the finish should still be good and you will only need a light spray wax to make it shine. For an older car with a worn finish, you should use liquid car wax because it will clean as well as shine your car. If you want to save time, a spray on, wipe off car wax is your best bet. Quick touch ups in between waxings can also be done with a spray on, wipe off car wax.

Some of the newer waxes contain ingredients that also reduce the appearance of minute scratches in the car’s finish and clean the car. But the most visible effect is the creation of rich, deep color and a high shine.

How often should I apply car wax?

Depending on what type of wax you opt for, you will need to wax every two to three months. Paste and liquid waxes last longer than spray waxes. Your climate also makes a difference: If you do not park under shelter, if the average temperature in your region is hot, if your car is exposed to a lot of droppings, tree sap, or blowing sand, or if your car’s finish faces any other kinds of abuse, you should apply wax more often.

Regular old dish detergent is usually not recommended. Do not plunge your dirty wash mitt back into the soapy water. Dip your dirty wash mitt in a separate rinse container before you stick it back in the container with the sudsy water. Thoroughly wash all areas where salt and other roadside accumulations may be. Many experts say to use one of those power sprayers a couple times a year.

Be careful when applying wax near the joints of car doors and hood as the accumulating wax can harm the levers. The next step is to wipe off the wax by a clean cotton cloth. A coat of wax will build up on the cleaning cloth. Don’t forget to shake off the wax, regularly. After polishing, you might notice tiny round spots.

Typically there is a spot along the outside of your house that will have a faucet you can screw your hose into for water. Now that you have got that under control, you need car wash supplies.

You will need a sponge of some sort. The best kind to use is large, to cover the big surface area of the car. You can use a natural sea sponge or a synthetic sponge, the choice is yours! A sturdy bucket is the next of the car wash supplies.

The car polish protects the paint job from the elements and masks minor flaws such as scratches. Additionally, car polish seals the paint like an invisible barrier. You should always begin waxing just after washing and drying your car.

Dry the car off, then apply the car polish one small section at a time to the exterior. You might want to test it on a section of the car that isn’t visible a few days before just to be absolutely certain that nothing bad will happen, for example, your paint rubbing off.

It is best to stick with the real thing, since house hold soaps could ruin the finish on your car. Once you have the basic car wash supplies needed, you can being washing.

If you like to go the extra mile making your car look professionally done, there are a couple more things you might want to buy. To make sure that your car does not streak when it is drying, you can purchase a chamois cloth to dry it off. Once your car dries, you can use special car wax to give it a beautiful shine that can make it look like new again.

For an average sized, not-too-dirty car, a self serve car was uses up only 12 to 14 gallons of water. Plus, if you’re using a self-serve wash with your own products, you can choose what to use. You lose the ease of a full-service car wash and the convenience of washing up at home, however.

Professional Service Car Wash: There are a lot of great things about using a professional car wash. For one, it’s super easy and convenient, of course.

It also increases the life time of the car and it makes your car look more appealing. Therefore, for getting all of the benefits of it, good quality car wax should be preferred.

Most of the people are always confused for the selection of the car wax because they argue that it can be dangerous for the car. However, it has been proved that it is made up of carnauba or from other natural waxes hence, they do not damage the cars. Good contents added in the car waxes can also increases their functions.
